Report Sharing
Collaborative Reporting: Share and Distribute with Ease
Use cases for sharing reports
1
Collaborative Project Management: Team members can share reports and folders relevant to a specific project, ensuring that all associated users have access to the same information and can collaborate effectively.
2
Role-Based Access Control: By sharing reports and folders with specific roles, organizations can streamline access control. For example, managers might share performance reports with team leads while keeping sensitive financial data restricted to higher-level roles.
3
Cross-Project Reporting: Users involved in multiple projects can share reports across those projects, facilitating broader insights and strategic decision-making that takes into account data from various initiatives.
4
Enhanced Communication: Sharing reports with selected users or roles ensures that important information is communicated efficiently, reducing the chances of miscommunication or data silos.
5
Security and Control: The ability to lock shared assets prevents unauthorized changes or deletions, maintaining the integrity and consistency of critical reports.
6
Regulatory Compliance: In industries with stringent reporting requirements, sharing and locking reports ensures that only authorized personnel can access and modify the reports, aiding in compliance with regulatory standards.
7
Efficiency in Information Dissemination: By right-clicking and sharing reports or folders, users can quickly disseminate information to relevant parties without the need for manual distribution, saving time and reducing the risk of errors.
